The ISO 14001 standard – Environmental management system – has been updated in relation to the previous version, 2015. The most important innovation regards the Environmental Aspects of the Organisation’s products that must be assessed with reference to their expected life cycle.

This means that the design and production of these products must be consistent with the company’s policy and goals, and focus also on the moment they reach their end-of-life and the impact associated with it.

Complying with these standards has numerous benefits and reflects on the Company’s capacity to reduce waste and inefficiencies, and use resources in an informed way.

Minimising water resource consumption.

Optimising energy consumption.

Optimising material consumption.

Recycling production rejects.

Other important awards.

L.E.E.D (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a System of Environmental Energy Certification for buildings which envisages the attribution of a score, assigned in function of demonstrated conformity with certain pre-established “credits”.

This contribution is assessed in the total materials used in the building: so our ceramic slabs also contribute to obtaining L.E.E.D credits in relation to the features and the production process with which they are made.
